IIT Gandhinagar JRF Recruitment 2020

Applications are invited for the Junior Research Fellow position on a research project funded by the Gujarat Council of Science and Technology (GUJCOST), Government of Gujarat, to be implemented at Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar.
Project Title: “High Performance Fiber Reinforced Concrete (HPFRC): Introducing a Capacity based Mix- Design Framework”.
Name of the Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Number of Posts: 01 Post
Qualification and Experience:
  • Essential: The candidate should have BE/BTech / equivalent degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Desirable: ME/MTech / equivalent degree in Civil (Structural) Engineering; GATE qualified; iii) ME/MTech thesis on characterization of Fiber Reinforced Concrete properties; and Proficiency in Matlab Programming.

Terms: One year (extendable up to total of 3 years based on performance)
Consolidated Monthly Pay:
  • Rs. 25000/- (consolidated) Plus (HRA @ 20% OR On-Campus shared accommodation subjected to the availability) if GATE Qualified
Or 
  • Rs. 18720/- (consolidated) Plus (HRA @ 20% OR On-Campus shared accommodation subjected to the availability) if not GATE Qualified
Selection Process: Selection will be based on interview and shortlisted candidates will be intimated well in advance of the date, time and mode of interview.
